A-Maze-ing Experience!

The corn maze at Plasko’s Farm is believed to be the first of its kind in Fairfield County and attracts more than 10,000 visitors each year! The Maze is open to the general public on Fridays from 3pm to 5pm and Saturday and Sunday from 10am to 5pm (last maze ticket is sold at 5pm). This is the most fun you will ever have on a farm and it is all for a good cause. For every trip through the corn maze, Plasko’s Farm donates $1.00 of the admission price to “Swim across the Sound” cancer prevention and education programs. Swim across the Sound, sponsored by St. Vincent’s Medical Center Foundation, underwrites 34 cancer education, screening and prevention programs. To learn more about Swim across the Sound visit their website at www.swimacrossthesound.org.

We reserve the Maze weekdays for groups only. Groups must be ten or more people. Group rates are offered to schools, businesses or organizations who would like to visit the maze as part of an agricultural program. For information on group rates or scheduling information, please contact Lisa Plasko at 203-268-2716 because dates and times fill up quickly during this busy season.

Admission to the Maze:

$7.00/ Ages 10 to Adult, $6.00/ children ages 4 to 10, and free to children 3 and under

How did they do that?

John Plasko Jr. is a pilot, when he is not helping his dad on their third generation Trumbull farm, which is how he happened upon the idea (somewhere over Pennsylvania) of turning the Plasko Farm cornfields into a maze. Each year, the maze is designed and cut into nearly four acres of the 10 foot corn resulting in over 1.5 miles of twists and turns unlike anything else in Fairfield County, especially for those without a keen sense of direction!

What if I get lost?

Not to worry, if you lose your way- there are "corn cops" on duty to direct wayward travelers and "escape hatches" for young ones who grow weary of the quest.
