FARMERS' MARKETS                    

 Plasko's Farm is a proud participant in the Connecticut Grown Program.  The Connecticut Grown Program is an ongoing initiative to increase the demand for and to help increase the sales and value of Connecticut products.  It also helps to increase farm product profitability, farm numbers and production, ensure equilibrium supply and demand, diversification of farm products and farm use capabilities, to increase visibility of Connecticut products via the "Connecticut Grown Logo", and to improve and provide quality assurance to help educate the consumer "at large".   

     “A lot of the stuff that you see here was picked fresh this morning,” said Jim Carr, the manager of the Farmers' Markets.

As part of this continued effort we are currently selling our delicious home baked goods (pies, cookies, brownies, scones), in season fruits and vegetables, home baked bread, organic all-natural homemade soup (seasonal), our famous apple cider donuts and our delicious basil pesto sauce at the following Fairfield County Farmers’ Markets: Bridgeport, Darien, Greenwich, New Canaan, Norwalk, Shelton, Stratford, Trumbull, Weston and Westport.  The markets generally run from July through October and a select few go on into November.
